[SXSW] BBQ / Salt Lick / (sort of near) Austin / The Best this side of the Mississippi

We were lucky enough to be bussed out to Salt Lick for their legendary and other superlative-laden BBQ. It was certainly the best we had in Texas. The sauce was a thick gravy and a welcome departure from the overly sweet concoctions being dished out in Austin proper.

Worth the trip. Worthy of the praise heaped upon it. No SXSW should be without a visit to Salt Lick.
